Bio-Medical Instrumentation Laboratory
The lab is to provide knowledge to the students on design, conduct and implement the experiments in the biological signals involving biomedical instrumentation. Instruments in the laboratory are used to measure, store and analyze the signals produced by biomedical phenomena. This helps to familiarize students with the basic design and implementation of techniques for measuring a broad scope for physiological research.

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Laboratory
The lab is to provide practice to the students on recording and analysis of different Bio potentials and to study the various applications of ultrasound in the field of medicine. It is also aimed to give overall idea about the clinical applications and transmission of biosignals using telemetry techniques, sources of leakage current and methods used for monitoring leakage current.
Major Equipment : ECG Arrhythmia Simulator ,Ultrasound Machine ,Multichannel Telemetry, Electrophysiological Recorder, Shortwave Diathermy , Defibrillator, Ultrasonic Diathermy, Pacemaker Simulator, Blood Flow Monitor, Digital Storage Oscilloscope, Spirometer, NI ELVIS Bioinstrumentation kit .

Biochemistry and Human Physiology lab
The course provides students with a research-inspired laboratory experience that introduces standard biochemical techniques and physiological examinations in the context of investigating various disease conditions. Techniques include biochemical analysis of biological samples, purification of amino acids, proteins and DNA, kinetic activity assays, virtual spectrophotometer, analysis of visual activity and hearing.
Major Equipment: UV-Visible spectrophotometer, visible spectrophotometer, colorimeter, flame photometer, refrigerated centrifuge, clinical centrifuge, direct and indirect ophthalmoscope, incubators and electrical water bath.

Pathology and microbiology lab
Pathology and microbiology can be considered the basis of modern scientific medical knowledge and plays a critical role in evidence-based medicine. This laboratory course allows students to understand the causes and mechanisms of human disease, as well as how they are investigated in the laboratory. The course structure consists of both theoretical and hands-on-training. It includes the entire process of routine clinical microbiology and pathology examinations namely microscopic examinations of biological samples, microbial staining, tissue processing, study of benign and malignant tumors, examination leukemia and lymphoma cells, identification of microorganisms.
Major Equipment: Binocular microscope, triocular microscope, compound microscope, laminar air flow chamber, autoclave, tissue processing unit, microtome, UV-Visible spectrophotometer, refrigerated centrifuge, incubators, oven and electrical water bath

Devices and ICs laboratory
Students learn the characteristics of basic electronic devices and circuits and the function of different ICs. Students get an opportunity to design circuits using logic gates, build circuits for different applications using OPAMP, design RL and RC circuits, Kirchoff's current and voltage law, network theorems such as Thevenin’s, Superposition and Norton’s theorems. It is also aimed to give overall idea about the application of operational amplifier and working of multivibrator. Designing rectifiers, power supply, wave shaping circuits are also possible with the help of transistors and IC's.
Major Equipment: DSO (50MHz), Function generator(3MHz), Digital IC Trainer kit, DC regulated power supply, Analog & Digital IC Tester, Inductance and capacitance box, analog and digital voltmeter, analog and digital ammeter and multimeter.

Signal and Image Processing Laboratory
The Laboratory has been setup to conduct practical work for the courses Digital Signal Processing and Digital Image Processing and also conduct Value added courses. The simulation tools LabVIEW, NI Multisim, MATLAB with Simulink; Special tool boxes for Signal and Image Processing and DSP starter kits TMS320C50 are offered for studying the various signal and image processing techniques. It is aimed to engage the students in this laboratory to implement the signal and image processing techniques and explore its applications and then it can be extended to Biosignal and image processing.
Major Equipment: The available software is 25 user LabVIEW, NI MULTISIM software and MATLAB with Simulink, Signal and Image Processing Tool Boxes; Signal Generators (1MHz), DSO (20MHz), DSP starter kits : TMS320C50, Computer Server : Lenovo Think server TS150; Desktop Computer System : Dell(i3), Lenovo(i5).
