The ED&C Lab consists of different power electronic drives equipment with different controllers like TMS320F2407, PLC, (SPARTAN)FPGA, DSPIC4011 for controlling AC, DC and special machines likeSRM ,BLDC for conducting experiments relevant to electric drives and control lab.The lab has 8 working tables with single phase and three phase connection for conducting experiments.
Major Equipments:Switched Reluctance Motor-with spring balance setup, Brush Less DC(BLDC) Motor Spring Balance Load setup with Hall sensor, PLC based Drives for Induction Motor setup, TMS320F2407 DSP Controller for speed control of AC & DC Motor, DSPIC4011 Controller for speed control of Brush Less DC(BLDC)

Embedded Systems Lab
The embedded systems lab is equipped with 26 PCs along with one server, software packages, embedded processor development modules with multiple user license and manuals. The available software packages include MP Lab, Modelsim, Keil software for PIC and ARM processor, RTOS and target boards. Also, Xilinx Software for CPLD, FPGA (SPARTAN3E, SPARTAN 6).

Power System Simulation Lab
EEE computer lab has been equipped with Pentium processor systems and dot-matrix printers with 15 KVA UPS support. All nodes are interconnected by LAN for high speed data sharing and internet connection from the centralized server. Area – 250 Square metre
