ASSOCIATION ACTIVITIES 2018-19

• II - Year MCA students underwent an Industrial Visit to the company Buddy Soft Solutions, Wayanadu, Kerala on 22.02.2019 and gained the practical knowledge and the recent technologies used for developing Software.
• Guest lecture program conducted on title ‘Bug Bounty Hunter Methodology’ by Mr. P. Dhamodharan, Lead Infrastructure Security Engineering, ICICI Bank, Mumbai on 21.03.2019.
• A Project Expo was conducted on 02.03.2019. Mr. S. Karthikeyan, DGM, JSW ENERGY Ltd., Bellary, Karnataka inaugurated the Project Expo.
• Velalar carnival - 2019 for Final year UG students conducted on 09.02.2019. Five different events were conducted viz., Adzap, Brain Teasers, Word Hunt, Surprise Event and Treasure Hunt. More than 500 students from 35 colleges participated and won Prizes with certificates.
• Seminar on ‘Main Framework’ by Ms. K. Kavya sri, Operation Executive, Infosys, Bangaluru, Karnataka on 15.11.2018. The students gained the knowledge about the uses of main framework and the various opportunities available in the industries.
• Final year MCA students underwent an industrial visit to the company KGM Polymers near Sankari on 16.10.2018 and gained the practical knowledge and the recent technologies used for manufacturing polymers.
• Department of MCA Organizes 15th National Level Students Technical Symposium "ARTIFEX 18" on 05.10.2018
• A one day workshop conducted for the final year MCA students on “Advanced Android Applications” on 26.09.2018.
• An Intra College Meet conducted on 14.9.2018. MCA students actively participated and the events conducted were Paper Presentation, Photography, Web designing and Creation of Wikipedia pages.
• Value Added course conducted for second and third year MCA students on 5.09.2018. Dr. P. Navaneetham explained about the Creation of English wikipedia pages.

• Project Expo-2018 was conducted on 10.03.2018, in MCA LAB. Chief Guest Mr.C. Prasath, Deputy Manager, Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Bangalore.
• Our Alumni Ms. S.Nandhini, Trainer, ETS Academy, Erode, has given seminar on Android application using Java for the second year students on 27.02.2018.
• Seminar was conducted on title “Android application using Java” by Ms. N. Keerthana, ETS Academy, Erode on 20.02.2018.
• One day workshop was conducted for MCA students on 14.02.2018 on PHP for developing Webpages. Conducted by Mr. Sans Kumar.S from Ccube, Senior software engineer, Coimbatore.
• Velalar Carnival 2018 Jointly conducted by MCA and MBA departments for final year UG students of other colleges on 09.02.2018.
• Industrial vist has been arranged for Second year MCA students to the company Mysore Sandal, Mysuru on 19.01.2018 and 20.01.2018
• Guest Lecture was conducted on “PHP” by Mr.S.Sans Kumar, Senior software engineer, 'C'cube Technologies, Coimbatore. on 08.01.2018.
• 14th National Level Student Technical Symposium conducted on 06.10.2017. Chief guest Mr. Shri.D.P.Kumar, Managing Director, City Car Decors,Baby World, Lotus TVS & Texvalley Market Limited, Texvalley Market Limited, Erode.
• Our Alumni Ms.T.Prema, Junior Associate, Developer, TCS, Chennai, Has given seminar on Recent Trends in IT for the second year students on 28.09.2017.
• MCA student and staff members donated Bureau, 10 Chairs, Note Books to Sri Annai Illam & Manasanthi Illam, Gobi for rupees 6,300 on 09.09.2017.
• Guest Lecture was conducted on title “Untreatable, Transmissible disease of the Immune System” by Mr.S.Sridhar, Training and Counselor, TANSACS, Erode. Conducted on 22.08.2017.
• Seminar was conducted on title “Current Scenario of IT Sectors” by Mr. Karthikeyan Jeganathan, CEO, Mabagubg Partner, IntellyticsHub Technology Corporation, Coimbatore. Conducted on 12.08.2017.
• Guest Lecture was conducted on title “Creative Technologies” by Mr. K.S. Vijaian, Head, Image Creative Pvt., Ltd., Coimbatore. Conducted on 09.08.2017.

ASSOCIATION ACTIVITIES 2016 – 2017

• The Inauguration of the Association( Computing Research and Development[COMRADE]) for the academic year 2016-17 was conducted on 03.09.2016. Mr.R.Mohanraj Development Manager Allscripts Pvt Ltd., Bangalore inaugurated the association and handled a session on “The scenario of IT Industry”
• Aptitude Training was conducted for the pre final year students on 19.09.2016 by Mr.M.Sampath Kumar, Aptitude Trainer, Talent Sprint, Coimbatore .
• Student Technical Symposium ARTIFEX’16 was conducted on 30th September 2016 Mr.P.Vijayakumar Chief Executive Officer, Texvalley Market Ltd., Gangapuram Erode inaugurated the session, various events like paper presentation, Quiz, Debugging, Word Hunt and Web Designing were conducted and around 100 participants from various colleges in and around erode participated in the events.
• MCA student and staff members donated Plastics chairs, Weighing Machine and Body lotion for Mentally challenged children at Kongu Arivallayam near Sengodampallam on 01.10.2016.

ASSOCIATION ACTIVITIES 2015 – 2016

• A one day programme on "Hardware Training" was organized on 1st July 2015 by Dr. K.R. Ananth to the students.
• The association of MCA – COMRADE was inaugurated by Mr. R. Chandrakumar, Delivery Manager, Wipro Technologies, Coimbatore and he delivered a special lecture on "Excel Your Talents Towards IT" on 21st August 2015.
• A Guest Lecture titled "Cyber Security" was given by Mr.S. Sadeesh, Assistant Consultant, Tata Consultancy Services, Texas, USA on 26th August 2015.
• A Two day Training Programme on "Power of Success" conducted by Dr.T. Raghunath, Director Relax Academy, Chennai on 16th and 18th September 2015.
• On 25th September 2015, a Seminar titled "Ideas for Project Development" was given by Mr.P.Vairamani, V-Tech Solutions, Erode.
• On 30th September 2015 the National level Students Technical symposium, ARTIFEX'15 was organized. Shri.R.R.Sathiyamurthy, Managing Director, RR Thulasi Builders Private Limited, Erode inaugurated the symposium. Events such as Paper Presentation, Web Designing, Quiz, Debugging and Word Hunt were conducted.
• A Hands on session titled "SQL Server" was organized on 3rd October 2015. Mr. N. Dhanasekar, Junior Associate, Vernalis, Chennai handled the session.
• A Seminar on "Android Development" was organized on 14th October 2015. Mr. M. Easwaran, Sr.Technical, Consultant 4s Solutions, Coimbatore delivered the lecture.
• On 8th November 2015, a seminar titled "Recent Trends in IT and the Interview Techniques", was given by Ms. S. Jeevitha, Wipro Technologies, Chennai.
