Physics is the scientific study of matter and energy and how they interact with each other. This energy can take the form of motion. Light, electricity, radiation, gravity, etc….Physics deals with matter on scales ranging from sub-atomic particles to stars and even entire galaxies. Physics also makes significant contributions through advances in new technologies that arise from theoretical breakthroughs. The department of physics was established in the year 2001. We offer courses in Engineering Physics. The course is basically oriented to create knowledge for new innovations. The department laboratory possesses excellent facilities and sophisticated equipment for the students during their course of study.

The objective of our department is to provide quality education and to encourage the Engineering students to strengthen their knowledge in the applied field. We are teaching Engineering applications oriented physics and also characteristic study of materials for U.G students.

The department has physics laboratory with modern equipment's our department library has more number of titles in physics with specialization. Dedicated, qualified and experienced staff members are in our department.
